great pool with swim up bar. multiple restaurants in one place with great food choices, 2 with with ocean views. the staff were amazing and always helpful. the gardens and fish pond were lovely and well maintained. the breakfast was always good with more than enough options. the young trainee on the egg station was very kind and took a lot of pride in his omelettes. the Cafe in the lobby had amazing coffee/frappes and baked goods and sweets.

This place is soooo amasing. The location is perfect, only 2 mins walk into Kuta along the beach pathway but tucked away in a completely silent and tranquil environment. Coral and rock free swimming in the beautiful beach right in front at hight tide and steps going down from the resort... The gardens, ponds, fish and sub tropical surroundings make it heaven to walk through and a huge swimming pool with swim up bar. The staff are amasing... helpful friendly and courteous at all times. The food is soo good and breakfast buffet is to die for - yum ! Oh and a fantastic huge gym, with free weights and a great selection of machines; AND air conditioned! Cannot recommend this place enough ... you CANNOT fault it... stayed 1 week. I will be back again very soon! Thankyou Discovery Kartika Plaza

Room (Discovery Suite) - 2 bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms, 1 guest toilet, sitting room with big fridge, and terrace with comfy seating - Ocean views - Excellent value for money - Aircon works perfectly - Size of a two-bedroom apartment - Perfect for a family with two kids - Bath in the main bathroom - Fresh flowers in all bathrooms - Good shower pressure and temperature - Big fridge - Cable TV (not a smart TV) - 3 armchairs - Desk - Coffee machine Customer service - Excellent customer service, particularly the Front Office manager, Naomi, housekeeping, and the team at The Pond restaurant - All staff are friendly, efficient, responsive and professional - Check-in is fast and easy - Everyone smiles warmly and greets you - Any problems are addressed promptly, efficiently, and thoroughly and followed-up to ensure everything is resolved Breakfast at The Pond restaurant - Breakfast is fantastic - Buffet-style, but the food is so fresh it tastes like it was made-to-order - The staff remembered my mother’s food intolerances (gluten free, dairy free, FODMAPS) and each morning they took the initiative to offer dishes especially for my mother. The kitchen baked gluten free bread for her. - The variety (vegetarian Indian, Indonesian, and Western) is great - The restaurant itself (The Pond) has lovely comfy indoor (with good aircon) and outdoor (smoking or non-smoking) seating options - Relaxing ambience set in the garden with a nice sea breeze, and view of the pool and the ocean beyond - A Balinese dance each morning is such a lovely touch and enjoyed by all The Pond Restaurant (also does the room service) - Staff are wonderful: attentive, friendly, professional and helpful - Food is absolutely delicious - Great variety of Western and Indonesian favourites.

The service was top notch and you can't go past the swim up bar for an amazing cocktail. It was like being on a cruise, we had entertainment starting at 9am with the dancing Bali girls, piano playing, the bali men playing the bamboo exylophones, then the aerobics by the pool to the night time live music with fire twirlers, and so much more. The rooms were immaculate (shout out to Toni on 5th floor) The breakfast was amazing from 6am to 11am so much food to mention, I have attached some photos of our stay, walking distance to Discovery mall, Waterbom park, Atm's, Bars, restaurants, sidewalk stalls for picking up a bargain or two. Also really good security at front and back of property. We couldn't get over how quiet it was and we were staying in the heart of Kuta. And did I mention it is beachfront with a walking track. Anywho, If you choose to stay, I think you'd love it and please have a breakfast Danish for me. Hahaha. We will be back. AAA+++.

The breakfast variety was amazing. The pool was beautiful and always warm. The staff were so lovely. The sauna was nice too. Aircon in rooms were great.
